Post 815

815 is my lucky number (and my birthday- 222 shopping days left!) and I don't think I'll be able to take a photo worthy of this spot.

Thank you for all of your support and commenty love over the past few years/814 posts. Philadelphia is nuts, isn't it? I absolutely love it here and am happy I found a way to share it with you. I am so flattered that a few of you have started your own urbanity blogs in your own little zany corners of the world. Of course anyone is welcome to do so, just let me know and I'll add you in on the sidebar. Imitation truly is the best form of flattery. If you are doing what I am doing, then I must be doing a pretty good job of it.

I'm lucky enough to have a life and job that takes me all over Philadelphia. I start my day down in South Philly where I live, I stop into my office in Center City on a pretty regular basis, and I usually hit up West, Southwest, North, Kensington, and Frankford a few times a month. Each is better than the next. The whole town is icky and sticky and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy New Year everybody! Make sure you take the time to notice the little things in life. That is where you find humor, beauty, and... well... probably something else that is really deep. I like listing things in 3s but I can't think of a third thing that makes life worth living. But it's there.

Happy New Year! You may see more pics like these on my blog as I'm doing Project 365. Well, making an attempt to. I still want a pic of the sign at my former OB's office that says "Deliveries in rear" as you pull into the parking lot.
